C O R N W A L L || Sister Time

for all the travelling I have done backwards and forwards to Cali, I have spent very little time exploring the awesomes delights of the UK, especially when my sister lives in GLORIOUS Cornwall

This last week I remedied that and took a well deserved trip down to chill out and have a fab n fun time with the wee one

There was plenty of eating delicious food, lots of sightseeing and some gloomy days which provided the perfect excuse to curl up and watch a film or too and just have some good ol quality sis time

First on the agenda was a shopping trip to Truro.  I would lose my head if it wasn't screwed on, forgot two major essentials; contact lenses and vaping battery charger.  Specsavers saved the day with a pack of my dailies and then found a wee vape shop that was able to supply me with a wee travel charger pack and then couldn't resist stocking up on some Traditional Juice ~ Lola.  After some retail therapy we head over to Mannings Truro and damn what a super lovely place.

One of my FAVE places down here is Porthleven and next on my hit list was a good but naughty cream tea so obviously we headed to the aptly named; Nauti But Ice.  Had the compulsory Cornish Pasty too then followed it up with a tasty TASTY scone n all the trimmings

The day started off a bit cloudy n grey but then the sun made an appearance and it was just GOOOORGEOUS.  We had such a great afternoon mooching about all the craft stalls and shops

Another shopping trip and another glorious day.  Our 1st port of call was Gylls Beach before hiking about Falmouth.  Gylls Beach Cafe is just one of my fave places.  I mean come on look at where it is and the grub they serve is just LUSH.

Kinda felt like I was back in Cali, enjoying the surfy beach vibe of Huntington Beach.

After all the shopping was done we headed up the steep hill to The Boathouse to quench our thirsts and look over and across the fabulous bay.  They have a cracking line up of Ales n Ciders here.  I remember the last time I was down they had an awesome cider with ginger.  Settled on the new Pimms Cider Cup seen as it was so warm n sunny Summer day

Maybe not the ideal time to be heading to St Ives but it's a must right.  Been wanting to check out Hub since my last visit and I just LOVED the place.  Great decor and vibe, awesome view and DAMN the food was just might fine

So after a jam packed few days the weather turned but like I said it was bliss to have an excuse to curl up n take some time out.  Movies, catch up TV (canna remember how many series we started and finished) and crafting, BLISS

Before it was time to head home had a bit of a drive about seeing some more of the awesome and breathtaking coastal sights and yep you guessed it some more lickety lips FOOD.  This time it was of the ice cream fancy from Roskilly's Farm

All good things have to come to an end and it was with a VERY heavy n teary heart I had to say goodbye.  Miss the wee one so so much but it's times like this being spent together that I realise how lucky I am to have a best friend and sister all in one, and she lives in a preedy damn awesome part of the UK.

Next trip on the agenda is already booked and count down begins... Looking forward to visiting the Philippines in less than two weeks, YAY

so leading on from my last review post it was only natural for me to want to give a BIG ass shout out n review on my FAVE online Vape shop:
These guys have been the greatest and were right there from the start of my vaping journey and have been a true support.

Their selection is of the best TOP quality "Premium" American jooses and they stock preedy much all of my most fave brands; Boosted E-Juice, Tally Ho Vapor Tonic, Th3riac, Alloy Blends, Cuttwood, Telos Juice Company, Khali Vapors and many many more

Also just to give you a heads up they are the official UK distributors for; Boosted E-Juice, Tally Ho Vapor Tonic, Ragna-Rok E-Liquid so hit them up for your wholesale needs

Just from a wee chat over SoMe they were able to recommend me some fab flavours and truly some are now my staple supply of must haves.  They always include some wee treat of slaps or a sample joose (last one was of their own brand 96% VG Comp Range "Mixed Berries" and damn it was supa smooth n tasty)

Working in the Customer Service industry myself means I know good CS when i see it and again they do not disappointment.  Communication channels are excellent and any questions you have are answered speedily and with great detail.  Such a friendly and happy bunch of guys and i had the great pleasure of putting faces to names when i meet up with them all at VapeJam and i was totally honour to be asked to rep it up for the crew at VapeFest

Postage and Packaging is free on all UK orders over £30.00 and they have some cracking bundle deals along with some great Sales on various brands regularly.  Great thing again for me is the PayPal option and you even get a tracking number so you can keep an eye on the status and be ready and waiting for your glorious VapeMail.  Ohhhh happy vape days

Their website is very user friendly and it's so easy to navigate around to found you perfect joose or any other vaping product you may need.

Anyways i say check out this awesome company and I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.  They are my go to for so many things and I can honestly say they are my VapeBuddies and we are one big happy VapeFam

Their current Special Offer is on Five Pawns ~ Buy One Get One Half Price

I know I'm a lucky girlie living where I do (beautiful Cheshire countryside) but I'm a wee bit limited to an awesome Vaping Store on m'doorstep.  Bit of a trek to some of t'good uns so I rely heavily on online stores to order m'jooses n kit... Over t'months I have used many n so decided to start putting up some reviews.

First off is "Rolling Papers Express"

Their range of jooses is over 400 n with a good mix of US / British premium well known brands n some of t'small lesser known ones

When it comes to flavours for me it's all about creamy / custardy goodness with a hint of juicy fruitiness so their "Ejuice Finder" works great.  You can select from price range, nicotine strength, VG percentage, bottle size n t'all important flavour groups.  Then tah dah y'perfect choice(s) just pop up for you to further explore n decide

My two choices where:

Rockhopper E Juice by Penguin

and

Sucker Punch by Suicide Bunny Ejuice

Prices are reasonable and pretty competative

Payment option of PayPal is very important to me, just makes it all so simple to order n pay without having to scrabble around for m'debit card n it gives me that reassurance of a safe transaction.  There is of course t'usual way of paying with y'debit or credit card too

Shipping was FAST, all received t'next day which is a great relief for those of us who leave things till t'very last minute (or drop) n then panic about not having y'ADV.  Packaging was good n adequate (bubble wrapped postage bag).  Wee bit of leakage but nothing drastic n something a wet wipe couldn't cope with.  Nice little touch of a couple of slaps included, wee bonus n treat for me n m'love of stick sticks (m'collections is getting outta control n I'm running out of things to sticker up)

Just a wee bit of a niggle for me was when it came to finding out bout t'joose flavour profile y'had to click on y'choice then scroll down to read it then click back to go to another joose option.  It's always handy if there is a description say if you hover over the joose or it gives you a quick view option

So there you have it my first review n all in all it's a great online Vaping Store.  The "Ejuice Finder" works a treat n t'quick delivery means I'm not stressing about running out of m'fave joose.

Ohhhh n before I forget they have this AWESOME giveaway going on at t'min... Gotta be in it to WIN it as they say so go on click t'link:

Q U I T  D A T E  :  Monday 9th March 2015

Its been over a week and I'm going strong...  Even when I kept a friend company while she had her fag fix or after I had a couple of shandys on Friday night after a hellish day in the kitchen at work, I still got no urges to grab a stick n light up...

Reasons for my success (so far) and also how i know i will continue?!?  Well it's all down to Vaping... And seriously WHY OHHH WHY has it taken me this long!!!

So after lots of research, chatting with my vaping friends and online buds, I can tell you I now have a new addiction; collecting eJuices and Mods!!!  Who said this was gona be cheaper?!?

Anyways for now while i find the perfect Mod I have an effective, if not cheap n naff looking kit...

This is all part of my bigger plan of getting fit and feeling healthy... All in all a better ME!!!

Watch out for updates on my quit journey, eJuice / Vaping Kit reviews, tips and all round FAVES

Toodles for now doodles

This week was all about meeting up with friends and trying some new places out along the way

First off, after a super yummy BBQ and dishing up some rather tasty n filling Filipino food we head to Sierra Madre... Such a pretty wee town and lots of charming stores and plenty of lovely places to eat and just hang out n chill... Love these kinda towns, similar to the good ol English life of back home

"Mothers Moo Creamery" was where we were heading, ice-cream was out sweet treat again and it didn't disappoint, mind I was in need a bit of warming up due to the drizzly grim weather that had snook over to Cali for the day.  I had a made from scratch Hot Choc with all the trimmings n it surely hit the spot, frothy moustache n nose to boot.  This place was the cutest with a great retro vibe.  They even do canning classes and workshops.

Hanging with these guys again in a weeks time as we all have a few birthdays to be celebrating, so more scrummy food n good times ahead

Next stop and a new find was "The Anaheim Packing District".  I was meeting up with my fellow Brit Pal and his lovely Wife n new baba... This area is fairly new and up coming and a defo firm fave place with me already.  It's actually not far from where I live and so I canna believe I hadn't been there sooner.  The selection of eateries and bars was awesome and the place was buzzing... Being a Brit Chick and not having found many decent Indian cuisine round these parts there was a place here "Adya" that looked and smelled the business so it had to be done and I gave it a whirl... Chicken Tikka Masala with naan n rice and hell yeah it rocked...

After plenty of great chit chat and snuggles n cuddles with the wee chappy Owen we headed down stairs to "Crêpe Coop" for the most tastiest of crêpes  EVER... So I picked the Red Velvet batter, with a slather of Trader Joes "Speculoos Cookie Butter" a handful of sliced bananas, a dollop of vanilla bean ice-cream and a drizzle of honey n a wee squirt of cream...  Oh I devoured the whole damn lot and with not a smidge of guilt, teehee

Also did a wee bit of shopping for the apartment and got some super lush bedding from good ol Ikea and YES I sure did pick me up the compulsory bag of meat balls and gravy n jam... And how about this ickle delight just to brighten the place up too... My obsession with all things cute, adorable and above all a wee PIGGY

Anyhows thats me for another weeks round up... Catch you all again next time and remember you can find me on Twitter n IG for daily updates (links above)

So what have I been upto this week then?!?

Well lets just say I have been eating WAAAY too much, but DAAAMN it's so hard when you see what delights have been tempting me.

First off Little Tokyo (more about the Hello Kitty Exhibition at the Japanese American National Museum, in a few weeks)

This place has always been one of my absolute fave places to visit when I'm back ere in LA, California... Not just for the food but for the vibe and all the wee cute and adorable ickle nic naks... So picked me up a wee Kewpie Cherub n ordered a Monchhichi for my niece (rememeber those hey?!?) from "Monkey Pants" and then had a wee munch at "Spitz", Doner Kebab heaven n being a Brit Chick I sure as hell know a thing or two bout a GOOD doner.  This place really doesn't disappoint and the variety is just amazing.  Ohhhhhhh n I can totally recommend the Sangrias too

Next stop was exploring the Art District and I was in heaven, fabulous boutique and unique shops and the graffiti and architecture was just AWESOME... All this retail therapy and trapsing about up n down the alleys I built up a smidge of an appertite so we stopped by "The Pie Hole"... OMGoodness i love it in here.  It's interior is simple, chic n industrial and the pies, well you guessed it, too many choices but i went for the Caramel Apple Cheesecake... It sure didn't hang about long, it was YUM

After all this feasting, it was time for a beer and after hearing some good stuff about bar "EightyTwo", Classic Arcade / Pinball haven, we headed off there.  Good selection of beers and it was like taking a step back to my Youff so Ms PacMan was my game of choice and I still damn well sucked at it n all, but it was a blast, real good FUN

There is far to much to see, eat and do here and there is always something new that surprises me... Really never disappoints.  All in all a FABulishious weekend... How bout y'all?!?
